E-Flite Blade 120 SR Micro Helicopter (BNF)

I took my Blade 120 SR to the local park right now. It was windy but I wanted to see how it would do in those conditions. Climate.COM showed the wind at 16 mph out of the North with gusts to 21. The 120 SR handled it fine except a single time it got away from me when turning crosswind and a gust hit. I hit the ground pretty hard but there was no damage. I cannot say the identical factor would have happened with my Blade SR or Blade 400. This is a fun helicopter. It flies considerably better outdoors in the wind than the mSR does. This is flight #1 of 2. #2 began right right after the crash at the finish of video #1. I just picked the 120 SR up, set it on the skids and took off once again. It’s a blast.

do u recommend this heli for a beginner?

  • NwRcFlight:

@rednexRC The 120 is a nice helicopter and very fun but I don’t fly mine much anymore. I spend most of my time with the mCPx and now the Blade 450.

ive crashed my 120 more times than i can count lol and it keeps on flying

@nishbrown Thanks. I prefer to think of it as a durability test. When you’re ready for something beyond the mSR this is a good choice in my opinion.

    Have fun!

    NIce… …crash.
I’m still breaking, er, I mean, learning with my mSR.
It’s bad enough seeing what happens to larger choppers on the simulator.
    lol.
