Even though most previous designs used more than one main rotor, it was the single main rotor with antitorque tail-rotor configuration of this design that would come to be recognised worldwide as the helicopter. Some of the most accomplished designs are introduced in the film. Examples are: Bristol 192 Belvedere, Bell UH-1 Iroquois Huey, Mangusta A129, Sikorsky HH-53, HH-3C, CH-53 Sea Stallion, Bell XV-15, AH-64 Apache, Agusta A 109, UH-60 Blackhawk, H-34 Choctaw, CH 3C Sea King, Boeing CH-47 Chinook, Bell V-22.
