O motor foi trocado por um Scorpion 4020 (1100KV’s), O cabeçote foi projetado e fabricado por mim, as pas são da MSComposite com algumas alterações de peso e CG pra maior estabilidade. First flight after setup of this MD530 with NYPD Police scheme, this is a fuselage by Funkey with an T-rex 600 ESP. The rotorhead is my own design and custom made, the blades are MSComposite Carbon Fiver with some modifications in weight and CG.

The model is of a Mesa, Arizona Police helicopter. You can see the real thing if you do a Google image search for “N505MP”. I do not know who makes this model kit. I think it started with a Century / FunKey Hughes 500E .50 scale fuselage kit. After that, of course, you have to buy the engine and electronics, and then it takes a ton of skill for the custom paint job.

New Align T-rex helicopter(2.5kW motor) survived a couple of 3D flights, but started to vibrate in air, quick air and ground inspection didn’t show nothing wrong…. so the decision was made, to fly it one more time…. which turned out to be a BIG mistake, luckily no one got hurt. If blades came appart in air, while the model was in front of our heads while we were observing the vibrations…. brrrr it could have been fatal. So remember that when you see a shaking helicopter
